Good afternoon. Nice to see you back with us Vince, a sign of the times, but yes you do feel cut off.

No chance of a walk here Pat, sideways rain and sleet at the moment with very high winds.

I shall keep an eye on the score this evening James, as you say you never know, but the Aussies are a competative bunch, they don't like to be second. They might not be too keen on the weather though.

Weather or not, the score isn't looking too good for you James, the Rabbitohs are 34 to nil in the lead.

Hi to POEsters wherever you may reside on the Planet.

Thanks James....we will be spending most of our day in the local hospital for ongoing pain management. Trust your knee problems are manageable?

Well... Hewlett Packard took over my computer, installed two programs, got me back on line but I'm not done as of yet...I'm holding an malware detection in quarantine. I read an 400 page plus book over this weekend out of sheer boredom mostly..it was anything BUT..about an husband wife team, treasuer hunters...helping out an professor, when he makes an find of an body dated back to 450 AD... they get to follow the clues to find all kinds of treasure across Eurpoe and managed to get the attendion of an drug lord, they foil his attempts three times, and the help of two others he hired to try to take the treasure from them. What they find, they are turning over to the antiquities board in each country before they leave it. In the end, the 3 crooks take two" big" big boats and an small army of men to attack where they live in LaJolla, California out of revenge. That took several chapters...they live in an four story house...it had some neat features..such as electronic lowering steel walls came down the first two floors of it...they managed to end up on the fourth floor..they unbolted the stairways on the third floor and they fell in, using machne guns...the army attacking them got two cherry pickers and the fight was on again...anyway..they ended up making an hole in the roof and going through it and throwing motov cocktails down and blowing up their truck and equiptment...in the end out comes about 100 cops and three different ships off the coast, the bad guys took off and the coast guard shelled the ships into an  million little tiny pieces, end of story. What an story...would of made an good action type movie. I was reading this amid watching the Oscar's last night. The actresses I thought last night so much more like we use to see them, in long gowns and jewels about their necks. Not flashy..just very classy looking. I woke up to my grandson here this morning..so will go for now.
