Ok, I posted last night before I went to bed...really bad tv interference on watching "Dancing with the Stars" and I'm on cable tv...I'd be watching for an severe quake within 24 hours if it wasn't interference from low flying airplanes, which bothers me considerably also....this morning woke up to another 7 plus magnitude quake in Nepal. Within minutes it started going down with other quakes, next came an 6.3...and on it went down into the four mags. But even those you feel if your on top of the epicenter. I had just read how scared the people are over there with the constant shaking going on day and night...by someone living over there. They keep hoping they will stop. Last night was extra-ordinary anyway....beforehand...Shannon showed up in "Wheel of Fortune" game and guess what she did...something I've never seen happen on the show in the 66 years I've watched it...first she won $1,000..then she won an car...then she won ONE Million dollars, then she won an trip to Italy...followed by playing off the end round of the show...where she won another $34,000....in all she won $85,000 plus one million dollars. How I wished she'd pass some of the money over to me to pay off my debts. Today finds me taking an grandson to the orthodontist this afternoon....raining here. Snowing at the 5,500 foot level on top of Mt. Hood this morning...but the clouds are looking an bit brighter and not so dark. Some lday delivered and 13 pound baby bck east...that's twice the normal weight for most newborns. I wonder if she got an C-section...or she suffered through all of this....Ochy! You all have an good one while I spend the day getting myself "involved" with my house and making dinner tonight. Scout night so it's needing to be made in advance so he can run around before he goes to that also...with the grandson I'm taking to the dentist today. So talk to you all later on. |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 22:51 on 13th May 2015 Someone told me that she most likely never got the One million dollars, as getting the card only means you have an chance at it at the end of the show if you pick up an one million card then and can solve the puzzle...though she won some of this stuff and $35,000. I took out th etime to day to update my spices before winter time comes. I buythem at an restrurant whole goods type store called "Cash and Carry" in aboutwhat would equal 1/2 gallon container...for about $14 for the dried onions....I use them the most. Their larger container of MRS Dash salt substiute you can't get at most retail stores...it was about in an quart jar for $17.00...but it's expensive stuff anyway. From there I went on to preapring for this BBQ at my house in an couple of weeks also. I spent plenty of money, but I'm now getting into 2 years down the road in some things. My spoices are also my kitchen decor...around the bottom of the cabinets on three sides of the kitchen. Talked to my neighbor who tells me that with thier credit card, if you buy every thing on it during the month and then pay it off..no interest charges but the bonus points you get are so fantastic...Randy and her are headed to Hawaii in an free airline miles and room while there for an week. She says you can't beat an free vacation...and she' s right. The food she'd probably pay about the same for anyway. Has an shuttle bus to her door otherwise. So she's going to have Two vacations this year. The other one will be over to our Oregon coast and she'll pay for that one most likely...they have an small trailer anyway. Won't be to long until school's out you know. The dark gloomy clouds and rain is going away for an bit. I see patches of blue sky and sunshine by golly. I best get going...yesterday I was lucky to beat my hubby home from an day of work going on..and the dentist appointment. Grandson came back after scouts... stayed overnight and then I took him to school this morning. So..like where did everyone go? |
