It was in September 2007 and was a nice, warm day.  I don't recall it being particularly cool inside the room.

Wow, there are some really lovely pictures here. I am amazed at the beauty in this world, and the people who are so good at capturing it on film.

Jason, I have to say that you have quite an eye for mood and composition.  It seems like every time I see a picture that makes me want to "be there" it's one of yours!  Keep up the good work!

Thanks to every one who posts such lovely photos for us to enjoy.Smile

I have just had the most wonderful cyber walk with Sue Bristo around Mill Wood in the Hurst Green Tour. What a beautiful place, captured in every season by Sue. I am going to have to go there for real one day.

Hi Sue:  Greetings from brown and pleasant Arizona.  lol  I was just thinking the same thing.  I'm thinking maybe you and I are starved for a little green in our lives.

Yes Ruth, I think  you are right.

I'm spending a lazy Saturday afternoon looking at pictures, beats telly any day.

Here is another beaut. It's title is Peace in the valley.

POE, is there any way we can have the option of clicking on the pictures in this thread and enlarging them as we can on the picture tours?

It might rain here once or twice during the summer (and then we get flash floods), but that's about it for us. We get plenty of thunder storms, with dry lightening, which cause fires.

Right now we are living in a haze of smoke coming over from the California fires, but soon it will be our own fires.

Give me the rain Lyn, I'll take it any day.

Whether it's rain or sunshine, well, you know what they say about too much of a good thing lol.

I made a mistake with the sunflower photo I posted above.  The photographer is actually Brian Dugdale.
