Here's some heavy rain for you, I found it on you tube, it was during the flooding in July 2007, I just hope this year won't be the same!!! It's nowhere near where I live but many areas got the same deluge no matter where we live. Enjoy! LOL

Good morning (or afternoon as the case may be) everyone!  Here's a little something for you to peruse and offer up an opinion, particularly those experienced and knowledgeable shutterbugs out there.  I took this photo inside the Falkland Arms, Great Tew, around 11:00 AM.  There was no one else in the room and there was definitely no smoke in the room.  I fondly refer to this shot as my wee ghostie, as it is the only shot of hundreds taken on that trip that turned out this way.  So, could it be my wee ghostie or merely something technical gone awry with my camera or the conditions at the moment?  My inquiring mind wants to know. Undecided

Well Barbara---the tea kettle and painting both seem to have double ( ghost?) images and the hazy bits appear to be curved sunlight shining in from a window out of view on the left. A very slight camera abberation I'd guess. Perhaps the ghost was inside of it, so he/she could catch a lift to the US?  It's odd how it's worked out, though.

I was out in that rain, up Shotover, down the lane (a couple of you here will know what I mean).

I have my own little video of myself on my camera, I was soaked to the skin. I almost killed myself trying to ride my bike down Old Road (Familiar POE) which resembled a river. I ended up pushing my bike all the way home, but I was already wet so it didn't matter.

Oxfordshire got hit hard during that rain.

Thanks for the link, Lyn. My boys and their friends are watching it now.

Hi Diana,

Sorry, I have not a clue. I am sure when our resident expert Maria reads this, she will have the definitive answer for you.

Ray.
