Sue, I hope all goes well for you. You'll be in my prayers. I think your area of NV is actually quite pretty. Lots better than the area around Las Vegas or Laughlin. I'm originally from PA and PA is much more like England than it is like Arizona, for greenery and pleasantness that is. lol

Scranton, actually, and then I lived several years in two little villages, Nicholson and Brooklyn. I have cousins in Boonton and we spent a lot of time at the Jersey shore when I was younger. I love Island Beach State Park. What town are you from? |

We can say we met in England (kind of). lol The Delaware Water Gap is a beautiful area. Maybe when POE gives the word that we can post, you might have a shot or two of that area to put up. In the meantime, until we can put some USA pics here, here's a pretty cool little slideshow, with a picture from each of the 50 states. |

Hadn't realised the number of places I'd been to that it reminded me of with both Bryce Canyon and Glacier National Parks my idea of heavan on earth and equally timeless in their beauty. Interesting also their choice of music with America The Beautiful written by Katherine Lee Bates on top of Pikes Peak, followed up with God Save The Queen. A sort of mini-geographical biography, in a sense. |
