Wow!  Why thank you everybody!!  Glad you like them.  I think someone mentioned here once that it's usually what you deem to be your crappiest photos that everyone else likes.  LOL.  Actually the odd angles in these shots are due to the height of the spire.  We were in the cloister along the front and you sort of had to crouch down and do a bit of a contortion to get the whole spire in the shot.  As for the B&W, I couldn't get the color to come out half decently so I just washed it all out.

That day was a trip to Salisbury and Stonehenge.  The quality of light that day was truly amazing to me.  I don't know if it has something to do with the moisture in the air over there, or what, but I can't really describe it and I've never seen it before - only in the British Isles.

Very suprised with 2 of my comments for Woody Woodpecker, The first person said somebodys talented, and the second comment agreed. But was they talking about the person who carved the bird or person behind the camera. lol Craig, Cool
