That's one of last years pictures from the wetlands...he's still there and I've had the thrill of him sitting on my head earlier this year. I think we've bonded!! I know it was him because they are territorial and stay in a certain area, usually bordered by other robins. |

Andy Edwards Posts: 1900 Joined: 14th Mar 2008 Location: UK | Posted at 17:11 on 8th December 2008 The birds can remember when it was a runway Diana, now it's like an open field......strangely enough I have all sorts of things land on my head these days, it must be the shiny surface that attracts them! Last summer I had a chiffchaff (a small warbler) sit on my head for the best part of a couple of minutes and the Common Darter dragonflies love it too. I walked 1/4 of a mile with two of them on my head in August. Ridiculous but true! |
