Poe has put on a new thread regarding accommodation not listed - why not pose the question there Vince?

Had to skip the tour this afternoon for our yearly family day.

But we still had some time to visit the Cornish Goldsmiths.

Cornish Goldsmiths near Redruth is a wonderful all weather family attraction., As well as being the largest gold and silver jewellery showroom in Cornwall making and selling some exquisite pieces of hand crafted jewellery,  it also boasts fabulous exhibits,  attractions and hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy.

Visitors can have a go at panning for 'real' gold,  digging for hidden pirate treaure as well as wondering round the fabulous displays and exhibits including the famous 'Delorean' time machine and an Aston Martin DB5,  not quite what you'd expect to find in a jewellery showroom - but then Cornish Goldsmiths is an attraction with many wonderful surprised to be had., The centre itself is surrounded by lovely landscaped gardens and has a fully licensed coffee shop., Whether you are searching for the ultimate romantic gesture,  simply have a passion for jewellery or are just simply looking for a fun family day out,  Cornish Goldsmiths certainly has something to offer everyone. (Not my lines but a good discribtion I found on the internet),

It's a fun place with lots to see and do.

Join me tomorrow when I travel to Helston to see the annual Flora Dance. Although this event took place in early May, during this virtual tour we can travel back in time. See you tomorrow!

Looe.

Over the last twelve years,I have visited Cornwall at least twice a year sometimes more. I love the place. Nice clean air and friendly people. Lots of history and great scenery.

Charlestown. You will always find at least one sailing ship in for repairs or refits here.

Looe. Another fishing village with its narrow streets and fishing boats tied up to the wall. Fresh fish for sale every day and fish and chip shops selling freshly caught and fried fish.

Just enough room to get the scooter through.

When I stay in Cornwall,I usually  stay at a holiday site,in a caravan or apartment. There are so many good places to eat in Looe,I would  say any one of them is worth trying.

Lol Ted.  Glad you caught up with tour and hope you had a wonderful afternoon.  Look forward to hearing about your trip to Helston tomorrow.

I understand from the information on POE that the accommodation I chose is within easy reach of Restormel Castle, Jamaica Inn, Eden Project, Lanhydrock House & Gardens, Port Isaac and Lostwithiel, so I need to choose which of those I will manage tomorrow.

It seems I must then take the A395 from Tintagel to Launceston (I must look what is there) and the A388 to Saltash where I will meet up with you all again.

Wonderful pics, and suggestions thanks Peter.  Hope you will continue on the whistle stop tour with us.

I have now checked out my options for tomorrows excursions
