A picture of Filey Black Hole, the doodle on the north of the Brigg which marks the point where access by foot comes to an abrupt stop. some explorers of the Brigg have been known to attempt to walk to Scarborough along the shore, but this is not possible and Black Hole marks the end of your route! 'Doodles' are small coves, of which there are several on the north aspect of the Brigg. These coves have been formed by the undercutting action of the sea, which originally formed small caves. A picture of Filey The wheels on the beach are waiting for the return of the local fishing cobles, that are transported into the sea by this means. The cobles are towed by a tractor into the sea and they are launched off these wheeled 'bogeys'. Again these are used to retrieve the cobles, before they are parked on the Coble Landing.
