Dave John Posts: 22335 Joined: 27th Feb 2011 Location: England | Posted at 17:31 on 10th May 2014 Left Ambleside 7am in rain which got heavier on the M6 but eased off to reveal clear skies and sun getting nearer to Manchester. Bit breezy on M62 round the little house on the prairie and a wee bit blustery at Windy Hill, which is so very well named!! Arrived home 9.50 in bright sunshine. |

That's the junction we always use to get on/come off the M62 and it's very rarely nice weather up there. |

Right now the house is full of the aroma of freshly baked whole wheat herb bread. I'm counting down the minutes until I can have my first slice, slathered with butter.
