Oh! I hate that kind of cold! It usually doesn't get this cold here until January.

Husband and I just had the most horrendous drive to and from the big city. the normally five hour drive took more like seven, white out conditions off and on all the way.

You must understand that we are driving through desert, miles upon miles of nothing but sagebrush. Sadly we passed on very bad wreck, and a few minor ones.

Oh, it's so good to be home, but the snow is awful, just awful.

Glad you're back safe and sound Sue but consider this.......Wheatley and the Shotover Reserve looks wonderful today, the sun is shining, the buds on the tree's are bursting, the rabbits are running about enjoying the green grass and we get the occasional shower to keep the sandy Shotover dust (that you know so well) to a minimum. Lol

And now I'm homesick. Thanks for the detailed discription, Ron.

The snowstorm dumped about a foot I think. I know Rick is laughing, but that's allot for out desert town.

Chilly here today with sleet and rain forecast. I guess the Winter really is on its way now with a flurry of snow expected throughout the Country over the next few days. We WILL get a white Christmas!! There, you heard it on POE even before the weather forecasts are available. Thats the power of POE!

Ron the weather man! Don't go sticking your tongue on a pole, OK

Snow still on the ground here, but no more accumulation.

Still, it's not going to get above freezing for a while.
