Yeah, we had a thaw down here but it still felt very cold. The snow is gradually slipping from the rooftops, trouble ahead....literally! Lol

We are having blizzard!! Truly! State of emergency! 20-30 inches expected I hear!! It's the wind that's the worst! Sounds like a freight train! AND...thunder and lightning!!

Oh..just saw 20 inches in my area. WOO!

Hi Krissy. We are looking at pictures of it on Sky News, looks pretty awful and more than we had here at any one time.

They are reporting the States of Emergency also. Guess it's time for you to stay indoors? Hope things work out okay for you all and that it doesn't get any worse, or last any length of time for that matter.

Take care Krissy.

Ooooh.  Heard you were having blizzards and 50 mph winds on the news.  I can't imagine how awful and scary that must be.  Glad you are safe and sound at home.  Did your mother get into the hospital today?

I'm not sure! Her procedure was at 6am but the weather was as bad where she is. So hopefully.....

Weather here? Well, it's thawing right now with temperature into double figures (as I predicted). More snow expected next week though!

Warm but overcast mostly today, rainstorms occurring during the nights at the moment which is helping to cool things down a little.

weather here has those cold, clear skies, little bit of breeze, but bright, clear skies....indictions of more snow & cold lingering. I was out to the shop for approx. 15 minutes and  temps didn't feel bad, but approx. an hour later it had dropped dramatically.

My brochure had sunshine, palm trees and balmy sea breezes...LOL....
