Today is to be a glorious day with abundant sunshine, blue skies and highs in the 70's F.  Perfect by my standards.  :-)

Sounds great, Barbara.  Spring in VA must be wonderful!

High thin clouds, just enough to shelter the sun a bit, but still be a sunny day.  It's a bit warmish though.  We may have a spinkle or two on Monday.  Getting a new roof next week, so hopefully the rain will happen then be gone for 3 or 4 days until the new shingles are installed.

Sunshine got me into the garden today, but at this precise time I wish I hadn't bothered. Back, knee's, shoulders ache like you wouldn't believe. Time for a very large whiskey I think!

In any case beautiful England!

Blue sky, no wind, spring flowers blooming, tree's just showing signs of leaf here in beautiful England. Temperature expected to be 16/18c...

Contrary to my post of 18 March above, I had to wear my winter coat, gloves and scarf to work today!  BRRRRR!  It is supposed to be colder tomorrow and Sunday (two major events happening: National Marathon and Cherry Blossom Festival beginning) with snow predicted for Sunday!  "Oh to be in England, now that Spring is here...."

The morning started off very promisingly, sunny and warm but by this afternoon we had heavy clouds, then the thunderstorm and rain.  They will probably come back again this evening.

Wow, Ron, isn't that about 80° F?  That's really warm for this time of year.  I think it was only that warm one day of the 17 we were there in August 2009.  And the hottest day was the day we visited you.

I't pushing 90 here today, calling for 95 tomorrow and back to the low 80s by Monday.
