It rained soon after for a couple of days and the temperature dropped quickly to about 10c. Then today we had strong winds, rain, sunshine. Tomorrow 19c is forecast and Spring is here, much as it was when you were here, as you say Ruth......beautiful England! If we were to get 90/95f you would hear us Brits moaning over there!! lol |

If he/she arrives on time (24th - 27th April) take it as confirmation that we will have some hot weather coming! If he/she is late..............more rain. Today has been wonderful, typically Spring weather and next week is going to be even better with copious amounts of sunshine. Beautiful England! |

We were promised 70F today, but it didn't materialize. Instead we've got rain and thunderstorms for tonight and tomorrow. The Susquehanna River is two blocks from my house and every year at some point the flood gates go up. We had a major flood back in '72 that wiped out a lot of this area. Hopefully that won't happen again. They've made some adjustments to the dike and installed the gates to prevent it. Your weather in England sounds lovely. Wish I was there. We were in Burford and wanted to go to Oxford, but didn't make it. Next time. Planning for fall of 2012. |
