Heading for 27C/ 79F today despite the national press at the start of the month giving weather forecasts for around the 20th as snow as far south as the Midlands. So, while the Midlands and further north--apparently---get their snow, in the south is like a summers day. A good month for the kids to also have nearly 3 weeks off school.  Wonder if the teachers got them too?

Rainy and cold. I shall have to dress warmly when going for my interview as I am still sick and don't want to get worse. But at least it's not snowing!

Well, let's see . . . last night we had freezing rain, snow, heavy driving rain, high winds, hail, more freezing rain, more hail, more snow, lots of thunder and lightning all night . . . and did I mention that we had even more hail?

Our trees in mid-Michigan should be leafed-out by now but they are barely showing signs of budding this late in April. What a Spring!

It's 5:15 AM and I am sitting on the couch listening to the wind, which I swear is going to rip the roof off. Nasty! The rain is lashing against the windows, but I won't grumble about the rain, as we get so little of it here in the desert.

It lovely and sunny here and it's suppose to hit 55 degrees today. Unfortunately, I was still sick yesterday when I had to go out on my job interview and it was a nasty, cold day, so today I am feeling worse!

Too bad, because it's been 4 days since I've been able to get out and I miss my walks.

It's still very chilly here for nearly the end of April. Only in the 55F range and very, very windy always. Had to take my wind chimes down so they didn't blow away. We had a nice day yesterday and I was able to start digging in the garden, but spring flowers are very slow to bloom. (Diana, Your cat looks just like my Cloe).

This past few weeks have been pretty miserable weather wise.  I can't remember when last we had such a long period of overcast, rainy, cold weather.  I'm really looking forward to some sun now, hope it won't be long in coming!

Wow....26c expected here today!

Beautiful England. Blue sky, green fields/tree's and the gardens are looking wonderful with all the hard work now coming to fruition.
