But that's probably because we pronounce Datsun as dot-sun, not dat-sun. Good one though. Hi Linda Mary, Happy New Year! Your weather's much the same as ours today. No rain in the forseeable forecast, so spring is in the air, I guess. I opened all the windows in the house an hour ago. Nice to get some fresh air in after weeks of the house being closed up. As for the rain expressions, heaving down in America might be construed as throwing up. lol |

I think quite a few Americans on this forum live in the West or Southwest. I'm going by the weather mentioned. What do you guys and girls think? One POE member who has become a close friend lives in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. That would be Brenda Harvey. Her weather doesn't seem to be really bad. It was 70 deg. recently. Here it was 74 deg. yesterday instead of the expected 77. Good weather forecasted for the next week. TV news said that the tourists were enjoying it. The ones who came for the Rose Parade and Bowl. But I think the local skiers are biting their fingernails lol. |

Here in Wheatley, Oxford 60/70 mph is bad enough, although they appear to be dying down tonight. It's been tipping it down, the skies have been black and blue, we have had sleet and it's just 9c |
