Take heart Ron, spring is on its way. Weather here is in the mid-70s and predicted to last the rest of the week. Los Angeles experienced winds the same as Scotland did. Frightening. Big trees blown over onto roofs, roofs blown off. I imagine the same happened in Scotland. |

Truth be known, I was just testing you really to see if you spotted the deliberate mistake lol Been cloudy here today, about 10c but as you say Spring is coming. And yes Scotland was hit bad! |

Temperature about 10/11c and frost expected tonight, with colder weather coming for the weekend. Must lag the outside tap today... |

He also gave me the formula for changing F to c & vice versa. So it was about 50 F. today near Oxford. It is still Friday the 13th here. Hope everyone escaped the proverbial bad luck.I don't put much stock in Fri. 13th or black cats crossing one's path but if I spilled salt and my Mom saw me I had to sprinkle some over the left shoulder. I refused once and my Dad said "Do it!" |

The 'Joined 1 January 1970' is a default message that appears when members take longer than an hour to post. Trust you are all well? Weather here in Oxford? Blue skies, beautiful sunshine but cold, after very cold night (minus 5c). Frost expected again tonight but hey, this is beautiful England. |

Well you may say "beautiful England"; but, hey, minus 5 does not spell "beautiful" in my book! It is raining in Sydney at the moment, but it is 20 degrees. However, i will be leaving the temperate climes of Aus. to travel to the UK come April and May. Will keep you informed of my travels in your part of the world: no doubt, I will be frozen most of the time, and thawing out for the rest! What more to expect! |
