Plenty will be so jealous of your planned visit. I suppose I say beautiful England despite the -5c because I am looking out the window, rather than having to cope with the cold, which actually doesn't help our chronic osteoarthritis one little bit. But hey, still beautiful England! lol |

Since Dad was from England I had an idea it would be cool (just the way I like it). However, Commentators at Wimledon told us more than once that it was 37c in London. Now that calls for air conditioning.

I'm going to book all our cottages and some hotels right here on "the Mother Ship" lol. Wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Sounds like you have fine weather for people who don't have arthritis. It's in the low 23's c now . If we keep these high temperatures it's likely we'll get little or no rain this year. Not good for the crops. And veggies will go sky high. Next season we plan to grow our own vegetables. I wish we had soil such as England has. By the way, why aren't other members posting on here? Think it's time for a new thread?

It chucked it down off and on all day until an hour ago.. So perhaps the rainy season has finally begun. James, how's your weather? |

This is the first real moisture in months, so even though the roads are slick (and I hate driving in the snow), its a real blessing. As I've said before, no snow in winter is trouble for us desert dwellers during the summer. |
