Paul Hilton Posts: 2605 Joined: 21st Nov 2004 Location: UK | Posted at 16:47 on 4th August 2011 The BBC forecast of 40mm of rain for today a few days ago, then reduced to 25 to 30mm yesterday, has been 16.1mm today in the end. As sunshine is out now, I guess 16.1mm is about it for the day. |

She couldn't answer it as she had no source showing a running total of rain for the day. Ended up giving him several hourly amounts for Heathrow to add up for 6 hours. But all she had to do was log onto Poe, and there the answer was all along as above. |

Four mud slides around the town he is based, and his camp and another one are cut off. I saw pictures, it is bad. It is also bad in Seoul. Here, not so bad. We're struggling to get up into the 100's, which is very unusal. Mid to high 90's most days. It's 6:25 right now and 91º F, so cooling down for the evening. This week we got a new driveway and path. The chap sloped both so when we have our flash floods our garage and front porch should not get flooded, as often happens. You can send us a bit of your rain, guys.

But as usual this time of year, our weather can be described as HOT, STINKIN HOT. Although we're in a cooling trend. It was 113° F on Tuesday, only supposed to hit 110 today. (It's 1:40 PM here.) |

Although I was born in Brazil and grew up here, I hate when it's hot. I don't like the sun either. I really think cloudy skies are by far more beautiful... You English people are privileged to live in such a beautiful country... Edited by: Ursula Carvalho at:8th August 2011 05:28 |

The temperature is about 12c right now although it will probably get a little warmer later on. Light showers are expected and a cool night to come, beautiful! |
