I'm going to guess you aren't far from York. My cousin Lynda went up York way this past weekend for a break. The weather here is dry but heavy clouds and about 78 degrees F. |
Linda-mary Sigley Posts: 195 Joined: 27th Jul 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 20:00 on 26th October 2011 Well, it's still dry but now partly cloudy and 75 degreesF. Kinda monotonous isn't it? Lee and I would like to experience a gale somewhere in England but be indoors, warm and dry. I was wondering if Northumberland coast would be a good place to find a gale. My newly found cousin Lynda lives in Bridlington and right on the sea. She said they had a huge storm with crashing waves very recently. She and her family sit in front of the big windows and watch. They love it; said it's better than the telly. |

While in San Francisco last week, we had THE most beautiful weather. Everyone was so shocked, as it can be very wet and foggy there at this time of year. Here in our little desert town, we had lows of 13 º F this morning. Still, the sun was out, and that always seems to help even if it is really nippy. |
