It's overcast and cold here, but I've just read in the paper whilst waiting at the dentists that we are going to have an Indian Summer. Starting Friday and lasting around 10 days - we'll see.

Grey, overcast, cool...looks like it might rain. Indian summer sounds good to me but need more than 10 days!!! 10 days will only take me to about Monday of my next Ambleside trip. But they have got it wrong before and apart from that I'll enjoy it WHATEVER the weather

We had our first mountain snow storm. Just a dusting really, but its the beginning of winter for us.

Oh well, we managed our usual two weeks of autumnal weather.

If the reports are correct we have a big storm approaching Britain!

According to what they are forecasting currently, on Sunday/Monday it's going to be pretty rough so start battening down the hatches members. Real risk of damage apparently.

I'll expect weather updates from you guys, especially you Ron, seeing that you live where I grew up.

Good luck and be safe.

Lovely day all day in Hull. Warm and sunny. Breeze picked up a bit later on but nothing scary yet. I remember the hurricane of 1987 very well....I was working in Felixstowe at the time and it was just a bit rough to say the least. Docks closed for best part of two days
