We are also forecast stormy weather, with high winds and snow in the valley. Hubby and I are in the big city ( Reno) celebrating our 29th wedding Anniversay. Hoping for the roads to be clear going home (160 miles). |

The wind still blowing strongly and gusting as I headed into Newbury. The barometer was reading 982 mb's, but by 9AM had gone up to 992, then over 1000 by noon as the low pressure area moved east quite quickly, as storms go. Hope you had a lovely anniverary too, Sue. |

Driving home the two and a half hours from the big city, usually a barren, brown wilderness, today covered in white and looking so very pretty. The sky was pretty too, varying from grey to bright white and when the clouds appeared, beautiful shapes. Luckily it didn't snow hard on the journey and it was a very pleasant trip. |
