I have to admit, Wolf, I hadn't had a drink - that is to say a MAN's drink - in years...not from choice;  a Doc. once told me not to partake thereof. (he may have been an abstainer hisself,  Goldarnit!!) Nevertheless, whilst in the UK I had a few Scotch's and soda EVERY Saturday night.........Lord forgive me!!!Sealed

Oil be drinkin' yer health with water from now on, mateyWink

Serenity

We walk along the beach at midnight
Before us, moon of silver, lustrous, bright
Pale corona softly embraces
As it continues on to eternal places

Endless portrait of luminous stars
Create a canopy from Jupiter to Mars
Shelter us in silent concert
As we look upward, unmoving, and inert

Motionless, lays the water’s plane
Yet to ebb and flow again
Stillness permeates the air
As we now wander, here and there

Sinking toes in sun-dried sand
Meandering once more, hand in hand
Beyond, the horizon dimmed by night
Soars the albatross in full flight

Resonance of city merriment
Euphoric laughter and contentment
Drift across the barren shore
Yet profound upon the ocean’s floor

Where all is silent and exotic
And only the presence of life aquatic
Survive continuously within the deep
Know this incredible world is ours to keep

Untarnished by the hand of man
According to His proclaimed plan
That we may be eternally grateful
For His treasured gifts most plentiful
