Words of Comfort Let not winds of time erase your memories Like windswept sands upon a lonesome beach Loved-one’s, now forever sleeping In tranquility they rest in God’s own care Nor should’st the clouds silently a-passing As daytime then turns slowly into night And all coloured photographic memories Become but darkened negatives in your anxious mind And if morning mists appear ephemeral Fading, as does the Spring’s last flower Think not of melancholic sadness But of the joyous days gone by And when treasured thoughts of love are fickle And appear as distant shadows of your mind Let not your silent anguish sadden you When the time is near to join your love on high If you believe God has forsaken you - Drawn his blinds unto your visions Pause awhile and look to the heavens And you will know He’s there Allow Him then to turn the switch That will illuminate your eyes And you will see the wondrous sights When God turns on His lights |

Thank you Ruth. I feel really good today - one week after starting treatment. Yesterday was a bummer tho! Regards, Harry |

Words of Comfort - really hit home, Harry. And I must say, that's been my experience in dealing with loss. It brought tears to my eyes - thank you so much. XOXO
