The next case involves the healing of a horse named  Perfecto

This horse would show signs of lameness but without regularity, sometimes with as much as a month between the signs  being apparent till such time that he had to be laid off from any racing and training. Previous visits by the Vet had not provided any solution to the problem.

During the lay off from exercise the horse had to be thoroughly evaluated by the Vet which required each section of the near front leg to be injected at daily intervals starting with the hoof upwards, then trotted out to evaluate the situation and observe if the numbed section of the leg was in fact causing the problem, in all the horse received 5 injections in order to numb the section of the leg that could be contributing to the lameness, on each occasion the problem still existed despite having a pain relieving drug administered into the area thought to be causing the problem.

In addition to this the leg in question had been x-rayed covering all sections up to the horses chest but still not showing any reason as to why this horse should be lame the only area not x-rayed by the Vet was the shoulder blade or scapula as the portable x-ray equipment was insufficient in capacity to cover this larger area.

The following week my daughter asked if I would check the horse out  to see if I could find anything wrong to check if anything  could have been missed, by this time the horse showed no sign of lameness which added to the frustration of the situation.

I arrived at the stables took my portable CD player into the stable laid my hands on the horses back and after about 15 minutes  the horses head began to lower till his nose was almost touching the floor, he was in a deep state of relaxation which is about the same length of time it takes me to reach my meditative level.

When I reach this level of meditative state, the communication between a person or animal is at its highest level thus enabling me to detect a situation  that may be causing a problem.

Working on the areas previously covered by the Vet I scanned up the leg holding my hands approximately 4 centimetres away from the leg, working upwards till I reached the chest area and proceeding upwards covering the shoulder blade, whilst scanning this area I felt the tingling feelings in my fingers this is the feeling that occurs when I detect a problem.

Following the path of the feelings that my fingers were detecting,  the area was about 10 centimetres in length but very narrow in width indicating a fracture of the shoulder blade, finishing off my evaluation of the horse I recommended that the area should be x-rayed at the clinic, this was carried out and it was found that the x-ray of shoulder blade  showed an hairline fracture.

After a 6 month lay-off and several Reiki treatments the horse made a full recovery and went on to win more races.

Love it Neil and because I can do Reiki also (not that I know how mind) I understand what you felt in your fingers, good job!

I just wonder what the response will be from those who aren't so fortunate as us in that we are able to receive the 'signals'?

Any comments members?

Last week I was in conversation with a friend of mine who is a Medical Doctor. Our discussion covered various aspects of healing and subsequently I informed him that my web site was up and running for meditation tracks with a guided meditation voice over feature.

Our conversation continued broaching on the subject of Reiki I explained about the feeling in my fingertips when scanning over a person or animals body and the cases that I had worked on to which he replied "Can you cure the  incurable" to which I replied "No"  he then replied  "Then you can only heal the same people that we can heal" so I replied "No -  I only assist in the healing process. The body takes care of the rest". It must have been the correct answer because he then asked me to try my method out on his shoulders as he commented that he was unable to relive the pains in his neck, shoulders and upper arms conveniently.

I will keep the Forum updated  as to the outcome of this case.

Meditation thought for tomorrow

May the load that you carry be as light as a feather, float on a cloud and watch the time drift away why try to keep up with time it never waits.

May your dreams be wonderful and wake refreshed to the morning sun.

I can understand people not believing it works, helps or happens Neil. I think it's one of those things that only affects you when it gets personal,ie you have a problem and it becomes the last resort, or you try it because you don't believe it and/or you happen to have 'bumped into somebody' who starts chatting about it.

What say you members, what do you think, do you believe it can happen, or that it might work/help?

Unusual not to have a comment or two, does that mean you don't believe it works, or yet can happen?
