While I was going through treatment, I would go to sleep while listening to a meditation and guided imagery CD. When I was in pain, I would listen and follow the CD and the pain would subside. It was a great, no, it was a HUGE help. It was also a huge help when I was not in pain. I would visualize the cancer leaving my body. I could feel it leaving my body. Now I am going to start meditation. I have my own little room, with its own little area set up for meditaion. I have a CD to help me start on this path. I know from my experience during threatment, that meditation will help my continued healing, and indeed, will help me through-out life. I have been reading this thread with great interest. Your post is the most powerful statement that I as a Meditation therapist could ever receive and I so pleased that this thread has been of great interest to you. Your decision to continue with meditation will reward you even more building on the result that has been achieved which in turn will help your mind to relax from its state of worry.
