We were in The Winston Churchill Room, (the Lord Mayors show was going by at the time) and after the tea we had champagne and chocolates. Then our host took us round The Savoy for a looksee - the posh bedrooms, kitchen area etc. And all free because we knew our host. It was well good. |

A few more from me....Donna Summer (opened up Holy Trinity Church for her. She signed a business card of mine which reads 'To Ron, the C S Lewis Tours man....Love Donna Summer'). Third Day of course which is where the legendary Ron Brind came from! Gene Wilder, personally took him to the Randolph Hotel in Oxford! Colin Dexter...author of the Morse Novels. He lives here in Oxford and what a great guy! I've got loads more but hey, I'm waiting for you. |
