What an experience, to meet him the night before he was killed! Did you dream about those eyes after his assassination? |

I was at this do where you get to meet celebrities, it's called Collectormania and held in Milton Keynes, England. It's really for autograph hunters, but I'm not interested in autographs but I went just so I could shake the hand and thank some of the stars from LOTR. Anyway, I was on my own in line, and it was my turn to meet Dominic Monaghan (Merry in LOTR and Charlie in LOST), I had my camera so I asked this chap who was standing by the side of the table if he would take a pic of me with Dom. He was very friendly, and very handsome I must say. He took a few pics, and handed back my camera. As I was leaving the line a woman came up to me and said "I can't believe you asked **** to take your picture, your so brave." Well I had no idea he was this famous actor from Star Wars who was waiting by the table so that he and Dom could go off to lunch. And to tell you the truth I still don't know his name, but everyone was gaga over him. So I've met some famous Star Wars actor, albeit totally oblivious of who it was. |

(He played Gimli in LOTR and Sallah in Raiders of the Lost Arch as well as numerous other films). He was so nice, I mean, so very nice, and very intellegent and very interesting. Becuase we were sat around talking with each other, it was good to see him outside of the 'celebrity' state. A good man indeed. |
