If you happen to know where the expression originated feel free to post that as well. Well, that just dills my pickle! Of course we must keep them family friendly. I'll post a few to start with and comne back as I remember others. I've already posted Love a duck and kiss a chicken in another thread. If you're at a party and it's boring or some other boring activity you can say I've seen more life up a tramps vest (tramp meaning vagrant, vest meaning undershirt).
