Crook as Rookwood.

very unwell (Rookwood is a cemetery in western Sydney)

He's got the Darling pea.     behave strangely, OR insane (it's a plant that causes some strange behaviour mainly in animals that eat it)

Doesn't know if it's Pitt street or Christmas.     to be confused (a country bloke confused at all the lights of Sydney's Pitt Street)

Who cut the dog in half?     someone has farted

Noisy as a Dunny door in a storm.   someone making a continuous noise

Flash as a rat with a gold tooth.     dressed and groomed nicely

That will do for a while.  Wolf.

Don't go kissing behind the garden gate - love might be blind but the neighbors ain't.

Never trust a man who wears more jewelry than you do.

She's not touching 40, she's beating the crap out of it.

Don't cry over spilled milk. Feed the dang cow an milk 'er again.

Don't spit too high but what it will fall back down in yer own face.

Win ya says yer vows, be careful what yew don't tie a knot in yer tongue what yer teeth can't undo.

Do you get very much rain where you live Wolf or does it tend to be more desert like conditions?

We are very fortunate with the rainfall here on the coast Di, it tends to be green all year round.
