If you happen to know where the expression originated feel free to post that as well. Well, that just dills my pickle! (When something has happened that upsets a plan) If brains were dynamite, he couldn't blow his nose. He squeezes a quarter so tight the eagle screams. If you're at a party and it's boring or some other boring activity you can say I've seen more life up a tramps vest (tramp meaning vagrant, vest meaning undershirt).
