That adrenalin must have kicked in with you, as just thinking about something happening to my husband makes me freeze up. Just the thought of losing him, and being left with the little children would be enough to put me over the top. I'm glad that all worked out well and I hope it never recurs. |

What I've noticed about incidents that rock your world like that is - how you react is your choice. I think I heard someone say once that how our lives turn out depends 10% on what happens to us and 90% on how we react to it. And usually when people say that something good came out of something bad, it's because they "counted their blessings." The old attitude of gratitude. It really can color the entire way you look at life.

This hardly represents my many loved pets through the years also. Until my mother passed on.....I'd never been to an funeral. I get to feeling at times that I should of become an "florist" at times for the flowers I've sent...also lost an very young neice of my huband's also, though I've known her longer then I have him. almost lost myself here recently...but trying to stay alive for me is still an on going thing daily at times.Plus I lost another goodfriend in the past from colon cancer...almost forgot about "Ann"..we traveleld the USA one summer together her motorhome with our kids. Yes, I could use an reprive from it all at times. Hubby's younger sister has had both breast's removed and now cancer is going through her body also. |

But like you said, "so make the best of life while "God" allows it. You seem like the kind of person who is able to keep her chin up. God bless.
