It's only when we come close to losing a loved one, that we realise how much they mean to us. My wife and I separated in November, 1985 and jsut when we were talking about making a frsh start, she had to go into hospital 'for tests' She died there, just six days later, and I had to help my family pick up the pieces and help them to be strong, at a time when I felt anything but strong. God's loving care helps see us through, and although there have been some hard times, I thank Him for His Many Blessings. We all go through some terrible experiences, but please try to hold onto this thought: Gold is made pure by being tried in the fire, and so it is with us. Each trial surmounted helps make us better people, and without them the real beauty of life would be lost.

I agree that the trials of life make us better people. Alot of the people on this site have had terrible trials to deal with and they are very special people. |

And I clicked on the owner of the video and he's in Sydney, but lists his hometown as London, so you were right about the pom thing. Do they have a name for Yanks that move to Oz? One that you can post here, I mean? |

A lot of the names Aussies called people when I first arrived here have now been deemed as racist and discriminatory. Years ago no one took much notice and we still all managed to live in harmony. Unfortunately tha Australia I came to is no longer, multiculturism and political correctness has taken over and killed of the Aussie mateship and way of life that used to be world famous. |
