Sue, that is horrible. It makes one wonder why some people adopt in the first place. Nothing can make up for that feeling of not being wanted when you are a child. It seems to stay with you all of your life. (((((((((((((( hugs and kisses to you Sue ))))))))))))).

As for guardian angels, I believe you do indeed have one. Angels are a species of their own, they are not the spirits of dead humans. Jesus said, "See to it that you do not despise one of these little ones, because I tell you, their angels in heaven always have access to my Father in heaven." (Matt 18:10)

You, Sue, as all of us were assigned angels to watch over us from the moment of our birth. Never doubt that you are (and always were) loved by your angel.

Sue, that is horrible! I am so sorry that you have had to go through that. We are your family and will ever remain so! Kiss and hugs too! Have you ever read the book "A Child Called It". Was a very good book about a boy who was abused and brought up in foster care. He is very inspiring. His name is Dave Pelzer. Amazing young man! Although your situations are different in small ways my heart goes out to all children who grew up feeling unloved and alone. I had a family but felt unloved. You never know what is happening in someone's life do you?

Thank You Diana. I can't see it yet!

Cathy, if you have CCleaner, use that, if not download it for free. Just google it. Not only does it clean out the rubbish from your internet temp files, but it can clean out you registry as well.

What a sad thing to say:(.  But you sound so happy with your family now that you could really say that you've caught up with the past quite well. I bet they would want to be in your shoes now.

She is a nice lady, it was the first time I'd met her, not having much to do with my dad's side. I knew she wasn't being malicious, just stating fact like an 82 year old saw it. I wasn't upset by her comment, but it was the feeling I got whenever I was around dad's side for the most part.
