Obviously something disturbs you lot, but it's not language...it's ideas that differ, ( from the status quo ) presented without sugar~coated mumbling agreement.

An underbelly of mob notions has appeared within the collective 'naming' of this variation of thinking, which is not black and white or right and wrong.....merely shades of grey.

No, Ceridwyn, you are wrong.  It's YOU who seem to have a problem with differing opinions.  I've not seen in any of your postings where anyone attacked or belittled any idea or comment that you posted, like you have done in this thread.  If people here are upset with you, it's because of the condescending tone you sprinkle on your comments with your choice of words.

Most of the people on this forum have been here many months and are often miles apart when it comes to differing opinions about something.  But the culture that has been set here is one of respect, civility, politeness and discretion.  And the "sugar coated mumbling agreement" you're so quick to deride is part of the conversation.  But it is, in fact, more important, once in a while, to sugar coat your disagreement, AKA tact, in order to respect the dignity of the person you're disagreeing with.

This is, of course, the internet, and anyone expressing anything in any way is bound to come around these parts now and again.  And you can go ahead and speak your mind, but if you choose to be arrogant and disdainful in your postings, be prepared to be taken to task for it, or as Ron pointed out, completely ignored.

This truely saddens my heart, but, I still welcome you as my friend, Just know I wil always believe in my Jesus, as you believe your way. I stand by mine. But, regardless, I welcome you as my firend. And I will always pray for you, as I pray for everyone in & out of POE.

Jeannie, you surely have lots of issues in your life and normaly strangers listening to you would make their judgements and not wish to get involved, however just like the 'good' Sameritan in the bible, not everyone passes you by on the other side of the street. The people here on this thread listen to you and stay in the background, advising you occasionally, but not judgeing you. take care not to give information that might present problems in your life as not all who read these threads are of the family of POE. i love some of your 'stories' you tell by the way lol
