For example color becomes colour, neighbor becomes neighbour etc, you know what I mean don't you? So whilst Chris and Sarah will decide what is right for them and the website, I believe we should not accept 'Americanisms' simply because we would eventually lose the 'England' factor. What do you think members? |

If that is the case, I say that the person who is posting uses the terms and spelling that they have grown up with, or are used to. As you know, I am English but have lived in the States for 17 odd years. I still use English expressions, and English spelling, but I certainly don't mind when our American friends use American terms and spelling. And of course, I don't mind doing a bit of translating from one to the other, if there are things people don't understand.
