Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 21:46 on 4th December 2010 Good day everyone...thought I'd best come in before we start getting the decorations down...Sarah is doing her house in Blue this year and I'm doing gold/white and green..mostly centered arounds agnels. I know two kids named "nick" whom I have called St. Santi Claus at times growing up around this time of the year...one is now an truck driver, don't know what the other one is doing. The oldest one is an California "re-plant"....whm took his " new" nike tennis shoes in stride one year by eating French Fries out of them. He was always doing kind of "innovative" things. But he so much asked me one day to be there (Pleaze!!!).. as he played his first football game in an little league of players...it seemed important to him, but we use to practice passing the ole pigskin for hours outside of my house...then I turned my bunny rabbits loose in the back yard and would tell him to practice his "catching" by rounding up the bunnies. It was good practice for scooping up footballs that were fumbled. He won his first game...and was quite proud too! No, I didn't miss his game. Was many years ago. Second one was an Scout father's son in our troop..him and his dad helped get my house into an new roof one summer...some more of that helping the kids earn money over summer on thier own. Fed them well also..they were on the thin side to me. Best Christmas Movie I think was "Santa Claus: The movie".At least the best modern one so far...though I like the "Polar Express" also. they come out with them all the time now. |

I was hoping you all could send some wonderful POE juju...my mom has been in the hospital since Thrus. She went for a cardiac cauterization found she was 75% blocked and they have kept her since. She is to have open heart surgery tomorrow. She is not doing well and this will be very risky for her. Any good thoughts and prayers would be great right now. Thanks guys.
