Good day everyone...glad to hear that people are making good progress these days in getting better...myself included...it's encouraging to hear others care.

I went yesterday and bought some ingrediants to make an  few cookies with but not boxes upon boxes of them. Put up an couple of trees and working on the downstairs. Kids will be out of school soon, and many years ago I bought this lavish bedding to make an "sleigh"bed in red an gold , an comforter....with an "lighted" village on one side of it and at the head of it an towering Christmas tree, all decorated...and then I do an round table near by with Christmas dishes...we have an wood stove downstairs and big TV set just right for Christmas movies. the kids can spend the night down in "Santa's room" for the Holidays if they wish...my grand-daughter sent me home two chocloate chip cookies last night. I hope in the future days that they "remeber" my yearly giving them this room as something a bit "special". I must go, as there is yet much to do. Have an good day everyone...make the most of it!!!

usually on a tuesday we have a day out to southport which is on the north west coast,i trawl round the music outlets while the boss does a bit of shopping but with the weather being bad we stayed home and i entertained a neighbour for a while and caught up with the latest gossip in the area and believe me there was some.

LOL...love your spirit !  Good to keep contact with friends & neighbours, especially during these cold/ frigid days. I see you enjoy music. Do you prefer any particular genre or are you open to most of the music, depending on what it is ? I have been a music lover for eons, and it has been a saving grace at different times thru the years. Like all others, I have my favs, as well. I do luv a good browse thru the shopsw tho. Most friends don't understand how I can browse thru shops without spending money as they do. I don't mind spending, but has to be something worthy of the prices and that seems to be more and more difficult to justify today. So much cheaply made stuff for a king's ransom lol...oh well...lilfe goes on ..and it's a good life...
