Hello everyone!...well, got the cat liscense, he's good for another 3 years of being mine. Not to long after I woke up I watched an Envioremental Protection Agency truck pull up in front of our house, so I went out there to check on what was the "danger" they were investigating...they said my TV cable lines in the ground...so I came back an googled it all to find out what's the problem they could give.."radiation" via electro-magnectic frequencies...hope it checked out "OK". Other then that it's been an lay back sort of day for me...totally lazy!!!  My sister called.. is looking for her candy thermometer...she's an diabetic, so what's she doing making candy...It does not seem necessary to me. Such is Christmas I guess. Feels kind of nice doing nothing right now though.so guess I better get going...theres plenty to do if I should feel guilty.

So spill the breans... Cathy..how you make bacon and eggs in an brown paper bag...now I know some "chickens" that kind of do that..they lay brown eggs in kind of an "pouch" type covering..winks*

Hi Shirley, Hi Urmi, Hi everyone.  Wishing you all a wonderful day today.

Shirley here is the How To Do It!    Bacon & Egg in a Bag

You will need; a 5 or 6 inches square brown paper bag with a flat bottom, 3 or 4 rashers streaky bacon (can use more!), 1 egg, a piece of string about 1 1/2 feet long, a stick about 2 feet long and a fire with hot coals (not too much flame).

Lay the bacon across the inside bottom of the paper bag, letting it slightly overlap up the 4 sides of the bag (Make sure there are no gaps between the rashers).  Break the egg onto the bacon.  Tie the string about an inch down from the top of the bag, leaving enough air in it so the bag is slightly "puffed".  Tie the other end of the string to the end of the stick and dangle the bag over the fire - make sure you don't get too close or you will burn the bag!!  The kids love doing it.

For the younger children it is a good idea to hang their bags from a rod across the fire so that they don't have to get too close to the fire.
