So happy to hear that you are excited about your new job, Diana. I hope it turns out to be 'the dream job'. I'm also in my dream job, albeit one day a week, so I know how good it can feel.

Hi, everyone. Hope you all have a nice day. Lovely weather here right now so I've been busy planting flowers finishing up the garden. Diana, I'm glad you're enjoying your new job so far. Hope it continues to make you happy.

James you make me laugh!....your suppose to be smart and go help pick out the flowers... and plant those that become bushes and bloom on thier own and then you don't have so many flowers to buy every year. But I undersand how you feel..but then without flowers it would seem like " winter" all year around to me. Have you tried geraniums and difffernt colored grasses/trees...they can be effective in landscaping...easy to maintain...disease tolerant...don't cost to much and you can take cuttings to grow you own yearly and replant them in the Spring. Strawberries bloom white and bluberries make for good small bushes also.An little goldenspreading arborvita...an evergreen bush...and it can look very nice with some barkdust until they get big enough to fill in the garden in size. I've had red geraniums...but kind of going the " pink" these days also. I guessbecause of the Susan Kommen Cancer thing.... tend to buy them every year to help fund the Cancer Cure.

Gee..only three boxes...my kitty cats use about that many daily...and my garage is like an " mountain" of stuff  inside of it...I clearly need some definition of better organization....but even then....there's not to much room around here....old folks built houses with attics in them and then barns with lofts for the rest of the stuff. I'm always looking for places to stash suff  "un-seen" for the most part. It takes  one shed just for the garden tools, my canning equiptment,..plant and soil additives...and lawn mower....but then we also have ...lots of camping stuff...not just ours, bu tmy son's also. Then there's the toll boxes...one fo rmy hubby...one fo rmy son..The my pantry. Then my hobbies. List goes on and on. My dad was storing my sister's more inportant things and when he died...she just threw out Everything that she didn't want to keep....before we even got there they had thrown out my sister's granduation diploma and picture..most of her long time jewerly that had been given to her...I mean stuff that was never to be thrown out to begin with.. Strange how so many things seem so nothiness to others.. when its not theirs. She was also in the process of throwing out my parents 25th wedding anniversary tea set when I was able to stop that and she let me have it...it was "black" and didn't look to good anyway as she said...I don't know if she knew it was solid Sterling Silver or not. Sogoes with the now times. I guess everything is "dissposable" or suppose to be.

Brenda we could use some of that here right now, better weather...my hubby will be gone this weekend with "Scoutcapades"...the scout master, my hubby (chairman of the troop) and two of the older scouts went food shopping last night for this weekend......and came home and left the food in the garage and in our downstairs refrigerator. He was giving me what not to touch last night before going to bed. I was watching an awesome "Dancing with the Stars" show last night... of the best of the best... in the last upteen years. Quiet impressed...awesome talent they had last night.Into the semi-finals for the season now.

So "Spain" had two quakes since I was gone at the Dentist...whom gave me an hordenous estimate on my teeth. Anyway...I guess these two small quakes really worked the area over because of the buildings being rock and brick for the most part...so hard to see those lovely old buildings fall also...such art work in them..Seven dead. You know some guy predicted the "big one" for Rome today many years ago...has everyone on an national holdiay of an sorts...he has passed on since he made the prediction though years ago.

Well, better get going...today is the grandson's birthday...later.

OOPs....tools boxes...not toll boxes..".the troll" has been following me around again here lately...in all the web sites also.... since "Petra" got everyone all stirred up recently..web master finally said something about it I see just an bit ago..let's hope it works. I might add she bashes everyone for not being "through" in thier work enough to be true "sceince" to their statements...she' s ood at making others inferior to her own "work" in life..and what she does...
