...Ron, you sure did post an pretty flower picture by Sally Birch..I just noticed it coming in here...Calendar perfect.

Congradualtions "Ruth".... your an inspiration to all us ladies that there is an thing of survival of womanhood...winks*

...An "thinking man's crumpet"..Mick....hum...been referred to one time as an "little biscuit burner" going down the interstate back in Kansas one time driving our camper/truck...RV unit...but "thinking man's crumpet...I'll have to think that one over.

Ok..my brother in-law's favorite vacation place is in the news this morning....seems six Mexicans were picked up in the midst of 93,035 fledging cannabis plants...plus their encampment of food, provisions and firearms. they are calling it the state's largest marijuana bust....they had cleared mind you, an one mile area ravine in the Wallowa Mountains in northeastern Oregon on U.S. Forest Service land...probably found them on "google" earth if they cut the trees down no doubt, as is stated. Anyway...they keep picking these guys up and every newspaper says it's  an one bit bigger "pot" bust. Couplle of years ago they had an forest fire down near Klamath Falls...found out they had "platforms" in the trees up high and growing marijuana in pots on them...as one fire-fighter laughed and said.."It was one of the "sweetest" fires we ever fought! Yes, the authorities Love to watch the "grass" grow these days...where ever that may be....seldom do they ever pick up an "Tom Smith" or some one with an name like that...it's always..Sanchez..or Ramos......Gonzelas...and most the time the first name is "Jesus"..or .."Julio" such and such.

Syd...Riley's are my hubby's grandmother back, married what would be an great aunt to my mother's maternal side many generations ago..besides being my current neighbors. As far as I know they werefrom Northern Ireland.."roots", preachers over here...strong Methodist...and hubby's grandmother married F. L. Riley was an "Fowler" maiden name I believe and looking for the Masonic Lodge members during the time...I ran across an lineage of them out of England that includes Sir Issac Newton...kindship into early American colonial days. They are not easy to find over here...as in some cases I beleive they were "Mason's" quietly. I am now questioning if Rev. Samuel Mcadow...started out of Scotland from the d' Anjou family...Grandmaster of the Priory of Sion in Procence, France on time...they simply made the name "Scottish" by adding the "Mack" to it.  Charles d'Anjou purprtedly found and guarded the bones of May Magdalena in an church near by....several generations they decided to dig them up and didnt' find anything. Charles lived just before the "Templar Knight's" were persecuted by the Roman Catholic Pope. I had heard the "Templars" left France and England then..with thier treasures. Some say they went to Scotland briefly before going possibly to Oak Island, north off Canada...and into "America". they most likley stopped by "Rosslyn Chapel" in southern Scotland...as its the area of their last ritual in becoming "one" with God....the highest you can be in "Masonary". Very few but an small handful of men have ever made it to the highest degree. By the time they go through this ritual...they also are supposedly "immortal"...bu then again, so is "God".  so it is I am now looking the area over the best I can for any d'Anjou family that might of had thier name changed. You can tell these lines so clearly over here as the genealogy is so incomplete in ways, but they are always of "fame" in some way. It leaves the descendents "guessing" until you figure out they "might" of been "Templar Knights" hiding out. A long time ago read that as long as an person took "oath" to an church/God...the authorites could not touch their hide nor hair...but at this time the church in Rome was the enemy...they would of never been "Catholic". It was easy over here to go into the frontier regions and live...you had the Native Americans to contend with, but most the time they didnt' borther "Holymen" if they didnt' bother them. Thisman's daughter married JOHN LARKINS...in Tenn...where my grandather back was born in 1794...he has several brothers...I think the Thomas W. Larkins is one of the "Three Bishops" of Methodist....,Brother "James" is whom I researching,... and of course this John married Sarah McAdow/McAdoo was a brother also...all sons of an earlier William Larkin. MIght of been the same one "Paul" found that at one time sat on the King's bench in England. I need yet to find his wife's family. Lord Fairfax...was also an Templar Knight at one time and deal with this d"Anjou family...I found out yesterday. Princess Diana was part of this group also..down the line....bit of history for you.

Gee, I forgot to say "Good Morning" everyone! so Good morning!!!

Well come on Mick be fair, there's practically nothing else worth watching.........South London Ping Pong or Paint Drying, could try watching the grass grow maybe........rather stick with (or to!! ) Suzanna

The suggestion of joining in on POE and taking photos I definitely thought was a better alternative to watching ping pong, watching paint dry and grass grow - but if you guys feel that is a better way to spend your time so be it!!!!  But then I wonder where the "thinking man" is that finds a crumpet.  LOLLaughingLaughingLaughingLaughingFoot in mouth

Your discussion about "thinking man's crumpet" reminds me of a joke.

One day, a man who had married a beautiful woman said to her, "How can you be so beautiful and so stupid at the same time?"

She replied, "I am the way God made me.  He made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me, and he made me stupid so I would be attracted to you."
