Do you perhaps call it a stork party? I am so glad you had a "you" day yesterday Shirley, keep it up!! lol Hi everyone, busy day today so just dashing through!! Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday Edited by: cathyml at:26th June 2011 10:36 |

Uptil then I wouldn't have known what it was. I expected them to put the baby in the shower ! ! ! Edited by: Dave John at:26th June 2011 11:11 |

I guess we-all have been influenced by our American cousins after many years of being fed nothing but US TV programs. Not a bad thing at all but more British programs would be welcome. We do get Top Gear, albeit 4 seasons old. |

They certainly liven up our Sunday evenings. They seem to enjoy insulting everyone and now it has been the turn of the Mexicans who, I see on Sky, didn't take kindly to it. Have a good week everyone and to those in SA try and stay warm. Its freezing here at present and I think where you are Cathy much colder than where we are nearer the coast. Bye |

And in order to be fair gender-speaking, sometimes workmates will throw a shower for a father-to-be. Showers must have been a tradition in the US forever, because I'm as old as dirt and I don't ever remember not knowing what they were.
