Or perhaps you've been hanging abaht wiff some of the 1000s of Saffas who have returned to their roots. Between Cathy & I I'm sure we can help you to improve your Afrikaans. Dit is mos maklik om te verstaan. If you understand Dutch or German it helps too. Cheers all. |

Now I've to head off to Virginia again it looks like...had some snow last night...not here, but up where my kids live, had to take the grandkids to school, as it was 2 hours later this morning. Taking an rest from the 118 pages of material I wrote last week...and then of course finish things off an bit. So have an good day and all...I was just looking over an persona named Mary Darke...seh married Edward Lucus II....out of Berkely Co., Va suposedly...from Bucks Co., Pa...usa prior. They had an son b. 1742 named William Lucas.I go for now..lots to do...Have an good day!..(.and their lineage is that they are Quaker and they are the uncle of King Henry VII....they come from Ireland, they come from England, but I'm more concerned about the ones from Lucus, Italy...in the tuscany valley....they go way back..to Nicodamus...in the bible...came to the aide of jesus when he was being tried by the Sanhedrin...it was him that Joseph of Arimathea went to and asked for the body of Jesus after his cruxification. Nicodamus (sp?) apparetly settled in this area afterward. Has an couple of other famous people there also....but thought you might like to get an little history in for Easter this year. I suspect maybe some of the lines of the "High Priest" that the olden "templar knights" promised to protect. |
