You know I'm always 'lurking' CathyML just that I can't always get to wind you lot up! lol

By the way, how are our fruits coming along? I mean the good ones not the rubbish that you keep. We bought some really sweet SA grapes today, just perfect in size, texture, taste.....beautiful fruit you produce over there!

We went to 'Ricahrd's" celebration of life memorial today..church was packed...everyone showed up, from the nursery owners to the lay guy at the bottom of the totem...sad for me in ways...I feel like my generation is "gone" in ways...or rapidly getting there. It was ran very formally quiet celebration.  Not at all like my brother-in-laws where people were kind of down home in remembering him and thinking back on happy times...people laughing from time to time.. Walts, people cried unmercifally..and even it was like all hell was breaking  loose outside also...in an storm, made you think God was collecting his chosen few from the four corners of the world that day. I had problems with my hearing device also that wanted to screech away in my ear from time to time.

Busy day today anyway....sissy stayed overnight...on my computer probably...but hubby had the Scout Pine Car Derby at another church going on this morning..so the boys and my son and grandpa were there most of the morning....doing the car races. We just finsihed some pizza. Sissy is here because they are having an guy type get together at her house. I'm still writing my booklet..and EQ Mary said she'd be delighted ot have one. She is an Native American Shaman type person..she feels the movement of the ground under our feet and tells what she thinks is going on and where. She's an older person, and one that has had to put up with an lot of pain this last couple of years from surgery from an fall. My sister in-law could use some help also, she was to go to see her doctor after the brain tumor removal, and they thought everything worked out just fine and then said that the MIR said that they didn't catch everything...talking chemo therapy now and I've not known many people whom ever get totally healed from it, before it does them in.... Sad to say.

I guess I better get going....I'm somewhere 150 pages on this book and still going....Have an good weekend everyone. Count your blessings your still alive these days. To see "Ross" today, my god, he's something like 6'2'...and he knew I wouldn't remember him and when he asked "Do you know who I am"...I said no, because you grew up on me, that's plain to see...then he tells me. Last time I saw him, he was walking the streets having gotten into an argument with his parents...mid winter...I told him to get inside...what you thnk your doing outside wandering around kiddo.. and made him some hot chocolate...let him rest for an bit...and told him things would be better later on probably. That is what nieghborhood "moms" do...they are there when no one else is....they don't make any big fuss, they don't take sides...they just pass out the hot chocolate and let someone know they are there and "care"...when you think you haven't an friend in the world. I go for now.

Hi Ron.

I guess now and again we get to keep some of the good fruit. We just bought a box of perfect red grapes as you describe. Delicious! We sure do grow some good fruit here so keep buying it folks- it boosts our economy.

Hope all our friends on POE are well and having a great weekend.

Tot siens
