hi there Julie...good to see you here.....OK james..came back with this plea of yours to stick around an bit longer...got the turkey roasted, got the ribs cooked an BBQ'ed because its now raining outside...made the fresh Salsa, have the chips to do with it...and the Macaroni Salad is ready to go...and so are the baked beans with turkey sausage in them, and the fresh Strawberry/peaches and Blueberry fruit bowl...Il make a fresh green salad tomarrow and some mashed potatoes for the little kids. I got told that I will be needed to babysit the kids one day an week this summer today. So she can take "Spanish" language medical classes.

My chair...I'm sure glad that I put it in the garage tonight. I'll be working on it this week..it has markings on the bottom of it left from the 1950's era I'm trying to understand...and get history on also.

Air coming through the windows tonight is nice...it was getting kind of "toasty"  warm earlier in the evening.

James..... you would of loved the "shot glass" picture I found the other day with the sky line at Sunset of Manhatten in it....yep, I think if it had been an poster, would of bought that one.

I hear today that hubby's sister with the Cancer problem was taken into "hospice" ...and will be going to San Antonio, Texas to be cared for by her son's in-laws. They say that Vinnie Bess is in London right now somewhere...he works for the US Airforce in computer programming.... as far as I've been told. We have not communicated since he was stationed  in San Antonio himself. Everything has to be apparently through his cousin for some reason.... to talk to him????have no idea why. He asked about his family lines back then, boy could I tell him about that now an lot better. I guess I go for now.

OK everyone...come in an talk to James...he needs some "chit chat" and company these days. We lost an very important Arabian in Saudia Arabia this morning....how many of you know that? It might make an difference later on in the MIddle -east region. Keep having an good weekend everyone!!!

Just been watching the BBC's highlights of the Trooping The Colour yesterday and unusually adding two American marches to the proceedings to which they didn't name which were, in succession, the Washington Post March followed by Anchors Aweigh.

Good to see you Paul...you remind me an of an bald version of the fella helping out at "Hotel Impossible.."(he still has an kind of charm about him)...gosh was I ever glad when he told some resort people to wash down their outside chairs everyday so people can sit in them an not get their clothing dirty. For ladies that wear light summer skirts, dresses or slacks.... it's kind of important. But what's with the gals name "Shirley"... that has an mexican hubby...Walter.... in an motel in Florida (they call hotel)...she looks like our Stephaine, use to come in here....who looks like that missing kid's step-mother ...Kyron Horman...whom I think is about  to be accused of murdering this child, kidnapping him or some such...the kid's real mother filed an huge huge lawsuit on her recently. The real mother's name is Diseree Young...what that proves is beyond me also...and there is an whole bunch of what sounds like " name taking" going on amoung them. When he first came up missing there was an episode mentioning an Mexcian landscaper also. I have an cousin named Stephanie..she is Val Dean and Joan Hiatt's daughter, being an younger cousin...I don't really know her...as we never lived back there when she was born...and have been driven back there through the area maybe an couple of days otherwise. I have no idea if she was our Stephanie here either....that Stephanie was running an restruant locally by comparison of "looks"...but don't mean much really.  They sound like an group to be weary of knowing though. It was an Hiatt that was suspected of messing up the Chenoweth family history... to accomodate what they wanted for an history of it..... Water under the bridge now though. I certainly hope an "lier" doesn't make for an murderer. All these people named Stephaine with the red hair always seem to need someone to come bail them out of trouble. Hair color is easy to change...we now have an news reporter on every night named Sephanie... with blonde hair and her companion is...you guessed it an young hispanic news reporter named...Garcia. Small world or what?

Dinner was made and if it wasn't the most non-chalant laid back day for "FATHER'S DAY" I don't know for what could be. I spent most of my time finding the BBQ rib sauce on me in some way...an new one for that. Up my arms, down on my blouse in front...even an swipe on the car seat. They tasted good to me...don't know how the kids liked them. We ate dinner there without them...they said they had eaten lunch just before we came...so I left the rest of it there for dinner...when ever they got around to it. I may eat an late night club sandwhich for our dinner. Do you think I should tell Mr. Hotel Impossible about taking an fabric grocery bag, thi scase add the motel name and phone number,,,unhook the handles..and place in the bottom of the bag....and roll it down an bit  and tuck in an few fresh grapes and pieces of fruit as an complementary gift for the guest in the rooms with an "pastry" for morning... or nighttime snack. Washing the bags should they not take them in leaving...and IRONING them...important...should make them re-useable. I use to do this myself with paper grocery bags....first thing in my room from shopping locally...bag of fruit and small vase of flowers...sometimes I took my own vase... and added one long stem rose. Then I felt an bit more comfortable.  An rose to smell, an book to read,  and some fresh fruit, coffee and pastry at any time... and I was happy. When I left, I dumped out the rose if it was old looking, and took the rest of it with me...if it was still useable. Fresh fruit in an traffic jam isn't to bad either....keeps well unrefrigerated. I guess I go for now. (My hubby's pet peeve is to cut out the crossword puzzles in the newspaper and distribute them out ot anyone complains they have nothing to do. He keeps an neat little pile of them in an plastic bag in his case.)

If I was wearing a wig Ron, I'll be changing my wig advisor! As they say--hair today, gone tomorrow. I'm still trying to figure out how Yul Brynner's hair stylist fiddled his overtime? Hopefully, it'll be a few years yet before i end up like '50s TV's Friar Tuck !  Smile
