There is a tumour marker in the blood called CEA (abbreviated). Mine rose from .5 which is normal, to 10.9 which is worrying; very worrying. So here I go again. I am waiting for my insurance company to clear a PET Scan. If they won't then I will have an MRI. I would like to think there may have been a mistake in the lab. Maybe they read it wrong. I mean I look and feel so good. How could this be? Continued thoughts and prayers would be much appreciated. |

So, a couple of ‘worrisome’ spots. One in the rectum and one on the liver. The Oncologist is not sure why I should still have problems in the rectum, considering I got radiated to hell and back in that area. So, first thing on the list another colonoscopy (just had one in January that was clean). He wants me to have one yesterday (if you get my drift). Then I will have a liver resection. Chop, chop. They will remove the part of the liver that has the cancer spot. I guess thats quite the surgery, but hey, I’ve had ten surgeries, whats one more. As usual, I am after prayers, good thoughts and lots and lots of love. I love the love. OK! Thats it for now. Thanking you all in anticipation for you prayers and good thoughts. |
