Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 08:47 on 21st April 2013 I am having problems with earthboppin.net tonight...it's showing that I'm connected..but half of Bopp's page is showing correctly..being the different threads..but the main forum postings shows an can't display page, or if it shows the whole page correctly....when you try to post comes up an can't display page. Weird. I have all kinds of add-on's and pop ups for different new programs...you know...sell, sell, sell...bunch baloney. I planted some 52 more bulbs today..these were bulbs for later this summer though..not Spring. I was listening to "coast" on some guy from Washintngton state pushing to pass marijuana laws. Real reason they want them passed is because the state wants the revenue from selling it...so they did this with tobacco when it was popular and everyone has cancer...they did it with alcohol...and it's got an lot of bad livers and kidney's out there. just wait until later on withall the wine drinkers these days...why the addiction...cause it's not longer considered illegal. It's like going to the store to buy an loaf of bread and you have an few more pennies to ahve to pay to get it....but hey, everyone likes "Toast" with thier eggs in the morning so why notget an loaf...that's why we all have weight problems also. Here is what this guy used to "OK" passing marijauna laws....our ancestors dabbled with it...our highest and most sucessful leaders dabble with it....making all these people do the "right" thing has mushroomedour legal costs and jails....but as an judge he forgot to say that it nicely lines his pockets also. That older memebers of the family and freinds of people are teaching the kids to use it as an acceptable way to live daily. But he forgot to say that the first month Washington State passed this law, th ecops arrested and hit an run driver that killed his victim...they thought he was drunk...no he was high on pot. Colorado also has an big blast this last week of thousands from all around having an pot party...they passed it...and in the process 7gun shots were fired in the partying...as so like the police arrived..so don't tell me it costs less to pass such laws. John Wells mentioned that there were 9,500 police in Boston with the FBI, so forth included and he said...take an good look people...should they deceide some day that there's going to be marshal law declared over the freedom of rights. BTW...that many cops on the scene...who had to pay thier wages? Two main things caught the guys... cameras on the street and an robot sent in for the youngest kid...and an cell phone in the car highjacking. He looked dead to me....I wonder if we will ever see him again. many people are beginning to wonder if all tehse events these days are staged just fo rthe news media and to let the cops make an extra amount of money...even though the bugets are out of whack already. Geroge Wells says....folks should be glad that it was pressure cookers made into bombs....and not an suitcase or real "dirty" bomb that went off instead....could of killed thousands. What an night...I'll think I'll go to bed now...see if I can possibly sleep. We met another car coming home from the kids...the other day....this other car was coming off the mountain road....and I looked over there and the fella waved us on, I gave an wave back and we crossed the road...he was very distincive, with his long beard and white/gray hair, dark eyes....and he reminded me of John Brown, Harper's Ferry...who reminds me of the picture of God "touching" mankind's finger at the painting in the Sistine chapel. Both are very much about "freedom" in the world. That was last Sunday night. I wonder if it was an message for all that's taken place this last week.I was told one time..to not fret...Gos os still running things on planet earth...I leave things at that for now. |

Without the painkillers I don't think he would bother to wake up in the morning!! We have had two horrid days of rain and cold and this morning was cold cloudy and most unusually for us, very misty. The sun, thankfully, is attempting to shine through now, but we still have the cold winds! Urgh, like a typical late Autumn day in England! |

Overcast...likean after math of things that happened last week. Ron, I'll see if I can put an noe tpad down by the radio and get the information about the drug they discovered making beer...that supposedly cures pain better then prescription drugs and is safer also..made from hops in beer. Agreed with Casey Decoursey when she said, as long as I'm director of nurses, none of my patients will feel pain...not in today's age and times. It's an excuse to let someone be in pain. Good luck in your garden....sometimes they bring an kind of wonderful peace to the soul. In all I have over 200 bulbs planted now spanning at least two seasons...but once done, they are fairly problem free to take care of. they are already bringing back the small birds and bee's I need for my fruit trees. I have an whole garden to plant next week. I think after reading the article on permaculture, I'll end the planting of them with an nice bark dusting all, around them but not with them...help hold down the weeds..till it all in later thisfall maybe. The barkdust also with the pine, emits and anseptic effect to the ground for diseases and makes pests less likely to have to deal with..should help hold in the misture so less work in watering also.. The Boston kid is in the hosptial they say unable to talk because they have tubes down his throat...ouchy....why I have no idea because they feed and medicate intraveniously....and if it werefor breathing, it would be in his nose. He must be much closer to death then what they are telling. My understanding is he lost an lot of blood. Courts can't even give him time to heal before they have started filing charges. That's the cold heartness of life that make these kids say no one cares about them...like the banker that throws you out on your rear..and your family with you, while he rakes in the profits. It does seem "un-caring". Another 4 year old died this morning because the parents couldn't seem to " parent" enough to put it where it couldn't be touched by an four year old. We don't need legislation for parents to get off their butts and do what needs to be done with guns laying around...and why should they be laying around to begin with...they are weapons...not play toys. Hey, ya idiots, "grow up" or don't have kids please. They see everything as harmless until they are taught differently...in this case this little boy will never know...he's dead. Nothing more can be said. I go for now. Have an good day everyone..or try to salvage the best out of it at any rate. I hope this kind of "stillness" goes away..it seems unreal. Almost an "unfeeling void" to it |

Planing on every available fence/wall/arches to grow beans up.Got hubby to dig trenches to fill daily with kitchen waste to feritilize the beans.Blackbirds decided not to stay to nest but bluetits l think may have babies as seems to be taking bits of food into nest.Robin still wont come into garden but was on tree outside garden singing way while we worked..Did not bother cooking today as had a very hearty breakfast inbetween gardening then later ploughmans.Tomorrow will cook Country Herb Chicken as herbs now growing, and Oxford crumb pudding to use up the cake from last week(then frozen) that was too dry.Watched old dvd of BBC Wives& Daughters last night and tonight Tess of the Durbervilles.Love these British country drama's plus glass of hm rumpot which l hope will ease my aching bones.Jackie |

Sk Lawson Posts: 4014 Joined: 7th Oct 2010 Location: USA | Posted at 01:55 on 22nd April 2013 No, that's not it...I can hardly pronounce it is why I'll have to write di down for you. Some lovely pictures of Princess Kate with her baby visiting the Scouts over there recently...they were probably all feeling protective of her...as you know they place emphasis on the mother's to put pins on them when they attain each rank. I hope though she kind of takes things an bit easier as she gets in these final stages. I got to hold Steve's little boy today, last time I saw him he was like new born, baby is now an 5 month old...little boy. Steve an Scot are cousins to my daughter in-law...who grew up in their mother's house and she took care of them an lot as little guys. Last time I saw Steve, he had just gotten married, so I had this extra big Christmas plastic wrap bag, went down from his back to the floor and told he to go an fill up that year. Hard to believe he has short brown cut hair just like all the other older cousins...I was use to seeing him with blonde hair, stripped with purple, green, orange...one time blue....my how things have changed in an few years. From hot sport teenager to daddy dea..r father. It seems to suit him well though. He held his son most the time I was there as if he was not problem to him what-so-ever. Chris was there, Micheal, whom I found wasn't working any more where my son was either...her mom and dad, sister and husband, Steve, and wife and baby...some girlfriends and an ton of cousins. it was simple...burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pasta..two different kinds, pizza sticks, chips of all kinds... lemonade and soda...and I saw an huge cake that I slid out the door before tasting it. Games going on inside and outside by everyone as my son BBQ'd. burgers and Hot Dogs. next up..grandson in May as well as my son....then...my birthday. At least the weather should be getting better by then. I must go, drinking an cup of coffee that could stay to be warmed up again. Have an ice evening everyone! Good to see Kate looking well in those pictures...for an worthy cause. She don' tknow it but when they get almost as big as the father's and the father's are shorter...and bald in some cases...they like to rub thier heads and tease an bit. With comments like...think he'll grow up someday...he could really use some hair you know...just an little tyke as of yet...you have to have an good sense of humor. As one guy said...better becareful,.. I've seen some dad's knock around an few hard balls out in the field....everyone laughed ... Good shot also! |
