I would think if it was an small airplane, by now we'd heard about it. We went an saw the movie " The big Wedding"..kind of cute providing us some laughs. Robert Denario plays the father and somewhat womanizer during his time. Has an crazy story but an realistic one in ways. Everyone confesses to at least having bedded down the relatives on both sides of the bride and groom sometime in the past...then finding out they had confessed this as the wedding guests were listening in on another side of an curtain. Lively movie. Hubby got his new lawnmower tonight....couldn't help but notice when I went to the local min-mart tonight...for an cold bottle of water..an guy beside me in an spanking new shiney bright red cadillac was downing an quart of beer...must of had an hot dry day at the office maybe? Twas an warm evening for Spring. Maybe he's like my neighbor...drives about an $45,000 pick up truck....as long as he works as the car salesman probably. Talk later on. |

In teh receipe threads, I didn't think Englishman ate to much candy...they seemed more into puddings and little tarts. This is the closest I could come to for the ladies selling something....history included. My aunt found this receipe in an privately printed collection of receipes assembled by the ladies of Trumpington, which is an small village near Cambridge. I have slighty adapted it to everyday ingrediants. However, the real credit for these cookies, whcih are.rich and sticky and do not even need baking, belongs to theTrumpington Ladies. Makes apprroximately 15..... 4 ounces of butter....3 Tablespoons sugar...6 tablespoons dark corn syrup..2 tablespoons coca....1/3 pound Honey Grahams broken into small pieces. Melt butter, sugar, and corn syrup over low heat but do not boil. Add the cocoa and mix well. Remove from heat and stir in the broken Honey graham crackers. into an well greased square cake pan press in the mixture and let set overnight in an cool place...cut into squares or thin fingers..remove and serve. |
