Good morning...I lost myself at the Goodwill yeasterday looking through their book section...picked me up some new older ones. So I went to Isreal last night...as with an heart problem, won't get there any other way most likely. It's an unusal book...called "Off the Beaten Track in Isreal...a guide to beautiful places.by Ori Devir. it's not an travel book, it's an hiking book..in the Springtime when everything is green, flowers blooming and the streams to cold to think to swim in. It's goes to no cities either. But it does have considerable history of the things you pass as your hiking along an path to somewhere...mostly of waterfalls, old ruines, or along an stream going into the Jordon River or an mountain view of some kind. Very different then what most people think of Isreal.  I always considered the country dry baren rock and dirt/sand..with an few Olive trees along the streams sometime. it showed in one case an old ruine of an fortress that the Crusaders were at during that era and some of the places the British or the French had through the years while they were in the area...besides biblical history. Fro instance Nahal Zin...with it's many stones that look lik an out crop of potaotes laying on the ground. Some of the the legends surrounding then include from the Koran...that Allah showered them down on the people of Lot...another that Elijah was wanting an watermelon when he was going throught eh area, th eowner refused so he truned hsi entire patch into stones....another ledgend says its the heads of an near by town, where the people were so mean that Allah brought down the stones and killed them. He says there are other stories, take your pick on which one you think might be correct. It almost liike like an hail stone epitsode to me..they are just everywhere...but he's right..they also look like an field of potatoes exposed above ground.....see, I would of never known things like this existed over there... if it were not for this book. Nor their Irises either...I've heard of them, but never seen an picture of them like in this book.  Such dark Irises, where ours over here are so bright blue. So I take back what I think about Isreal being an dry and rocky barren land for the most part. It has it's time in Spring when even it is pretty with the flowers in the hills and an such...and maybe Jesus at some time got to enjoy some of these walks through the hills.

It started rain showers last night...so wonder if the guys will be  home early today from their Scout outting.  All windows and doors closed but we might get into the low 80's by the end of this week, and the Red River goes through North Dakota and up in that area is expected to do it's yearly flooding this week...something like 30 feet over flood stage...it does it every year...but an sure sign Spring isback in the higher areas of the USA and the snow is receeding.

Have an good day everyone!  Peggy mend quickly...don't need anyone hurt nor ill...I still have 120 white onions to plant when it stops with the rain showers. It's all I can do to manuver down on the ground as it is. I saw these onions though at the store the other day for $1.29 cents an pound...WOW!....I really need to get them planted and let them grow for next winter...talk later on.

I came back to tell you all that this was the last web site I was at today..I tried to get into my computer just an bit ago..and it up came "Skype"...but it also said that my power source was low...I took it out to the other room and plugged it in...but again..the machine isn't shutting itself off to charge properly so far...I have already taken this to Office depoe with the problem...maybe an terrorist induced hacking or something...I have no idea. I have never used Skype on my computer...my hubby doesn' t have it on his either.

... Ron can you tell if someone here in POE used Skype recently maybe? This has happened before and I don't kniow anyone but maybe someone here that might be affliated with Skype. If so, why would it pick up on my computer useage. When I came in last night to do those receipes...I used my pin number authorization to do so...on my security program also. My husband again, like before is getting on his computer that it's blocking someone wants to getinto his home page. Just thought you know...whomever, doesn't really know what they are doing...or I wouldn't be having problems.

Just got back from Office Depoe...my fella guy was there...came  an plugged in an little clip into my computer and pulled whatever it was out of my computer to look over. Cleaned up the aftermath and didn't charge me anything. I asked him what was wrong, he said, not sure, I've never seen this one before now. But it was transfered out of your computer... so nothing for you to worry about. Working as if nothing happened. Beware though all you other people.

Hello James and Cathyml....after I left reading about Isreal....I went to four ladies getting married yesterday...one was from South Africa, she married at an gazebo along the shore someplace there at an resort, the next married at an traditional church in New York, the next married in Mexcio, and the last had her wedding at an winery in Napa, California. Prices started at $15,000. One had an tiered red velvet Wedding cake, one had huge bouquets of mixed long stem roses, anther one had an wall of stained glass windows, and the other an carnival setting in Mexico.  At one they blew bubbles, at another one they wore those neon type bracelets on their head and arms and around the neck to do the dancing. Two confessed that an wedding was about food more then anything. At another one they took down the center piece of vases with tall mini light branches so they could toast each other at the table...guess there are things to be said for low table decor. At one they had various shaped clear vases with fruit or flowers and sat small candles lit inside with them...seemed to work out better. All were wearing just simply the most gorgeous dresses. The were ladies in thier late 20's to early 30's. for the most part through college and into professions of some kind. The wine flowed easy at the Napa wedding and they looked like they were well mellowed out trying out different glasses of the wines..but serene and happy. It brought back an lot of memeories for me...at my kid's wedding...the number one thing the people liked the best was little fried polenta rounds with an black bean salsa on top. First thing to go. I would of made more of them if I'd known they were going to go over so well. But anyway..if finished off the weelend from seeing the movie "The Big Wedding"...and so it goes, and new week has started. I'm waiting for the weather to clear up today. Have an good week.

An lady ahd her husband were arguing over who should make the coffee in the morning...She said he does...He said, no, your the cook so the woman should make the coffee..to which she replies...no, the bible strickly says "he" makes the coffee...so her husband says, where you get that one?...she drags out the bible and opens it up, points her finger to the top of the page and says...see.. as she flips through the pages.... "Hebrews..Hebrews..Hebrews!.. Guys make the  morning coffee!
