Good Lord...what next....the major north/ south freeway...I-5....bridge collapsed over the Skagit River in Washington state sending cars into the river....just now 5.7 mag quake near Greenville, Callifornia...north of Sacremento....at "zero" depth?...what does that mean...something blew up? Again to night..huge and bad red storms cells going through Texas and into Oklahoma....and they are saying they are moving "coasttocoast" to Dallas area May 27th...hum. I wonder what this will do to it here in my area. They claim that thier call numbers will be the same as KEX....1190. People seem to be definately on the move for "control" perhaps...but they for make lousy leaders as it is in my estimation.... with some of the decisions they make.. family just got back from planting flags at the cemetary grounds with the Scouts...in the pouring rain. Scout council today lifted the "ban" off gay kids joining, but will not let Gay leaders into it and that's quite fine with me. It would of made no difference as there is someone always putting them down in something at times. The only safe answer is for parents to be WITH their kids and do things openly with the other Scouts... where they can be seen.

That is so sad Peggy, I can't imagine how you must have felt. Yes it is the same daughter, we have two (and two boys) but it's always Joanne, the unlucky one. We went to see a plastic surgeon to see if he could do anything about the tennis ball sized hole at the base of her spine which was left after the neurosurgeon had fixed her up - sadly no, he's not willing to operate in case there are further complications. She also has a negligence claim in against the NHS so I really don't think anyone is willing to touch her.

She's made medical history anyway, she is the first person in the UK to have the problems she's had, her case is due before the BMA as a presentaion this summer, all her operations by the neurosurgeon were filmed and photographed, as you can imagine we have some wonderful pictures 

Looks like she's left with the hole
